This project involved the design and construction of a modern monument sign for Eblen Intermediate, Koontz Intermediate, and West Buncombe Elementary Schools. The shift in the signs form and color mimics the two intermediate schools iconic roof top light wells with a play on school colors. The base for each sign matches the masonry used for each school with Koontz Intermediate incorporating found stone during its construction. Other features include a vandal resistant message board, anti-reflective paint, and potential for future digital signage.
