Working with Asheville’s Chamber of Commerce, partner Peyton Shumate while employed at Clark Nexsen (previously PBC+L), assisted in developing marketing materials to help bring New Belgium Brewery to Asheville.  Looking for an east coast brewery and distribution center, New Belgium Brewery narrowed the search down to two cities: Asheville and Philidelphia.

Conceptual renderings were created to illustrate how a new brewery would fit in the community fabric of Asheville along the French Broad River.  The renderings reflect both the mission of New Belgium and the unique character that makes Asheville special.  Many of the concepts depict local greenway integration with the site and proposed building to entice New Belgium.

Ultimately, New Belgium selected Asheville as its new east coast location with work underway in the River Arts District.
