Working with UNC Asheville’s facilities team, partner Peyton Shumate while employed at Clark Nexsen, assisted in the design of a new campus wide way finding system.  The system incorporates highly visual color elements to help orient visitors and students to the campus.  Upon arrival to the campus, a large campus map and turn-off space was provided to allow time to study the campus and its buildings.  From there, individual informational signs are placed in strategic locations to provide directions for vehicular and pedestrian use.  Finally, building signs were updated to complete and unify the design of the system.

As part of the UNCA Wayfinding signage, pole banners were designed and installed around the campus and community to reinforce UNCA as a community school.
