SPARC Celebrates Three Years

Three years ago, we co-founded SPARC Design, however the idea was incepted almost 13 years ago. To grow this idea we thought a great view of our city and its mountainous surroundings would inspire us as we discussed our ambitions and big picture aspirations. So, we “officially” began with retreat sessions at the Grove Park Inn.  It didn’t matter to us that our “retreat”  occurred in the historic hallway’s of this notable hotel, in addition to walking up the hill to get there.  This was a place we could foster our ideas and dreams into a reality.

A career in architecture begins with intense and time consuming design studios in undergraduate and graduate school, transitions into three years of internships, and continues with years of mentorship. There was a high point during our mentor years where we took our 7 exams and became licensed architects. Yet, we know that this path in architecture is a continuous climb.

In 2012, we took our collective knowledge, experience and ideas to shape our own practice. In that time, we’ve forged our own path of what we believe is a 21st century architecture firm. We’re proud to offer strictly BIM design services, complete renovations with fewer unknowns by modeling accurate existing condition from point clouds, and help our clients see ideas turn into architecture using 3d presentations and renderings.

We are proud to work with the following clients and look forward to many more years working together!
